DIY Wedding Favors: Luggage Tags

Since Matt and I had a destination wedding in Maui, we wanted to make favors that fit the destination theme without being too cheesy. I came across the idea to make luggage tags for all the guests, knowing that it is something everyone can use again. I think they turned out fantastic and all our guests really enjoyed them.

  1. Hi there,
I’m getting married in May and making a similar favor! Yours look beautiful 🙂 Where did you find the luggage tags? I can’t find frosted anywhere!

    Thanks!

  2. Hi! My fiance and I came to your website while searching for luggage tags (as favors for our guests) and absolutely fell in love with yours! We too are getting married in Maui this July – could you tell us where you found your image/how you made the map for the luggage tags?

Thanks so much, we appreciate your help 🙂

    • Hi Sunny ! Congratulations to you and your fiancee. Maui is the best place to go married. We loved everything about it and would do it again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I can’t remember how I found that map picture of Maui. I remember searching forever for the perfect one and I don’t have that computer anymore that the image was saved on. If there are any other questions you have about getting married in maui Id be happy to help!

      • Thanks tealybopper! I was actually looking at Zazzle before – they do have very cute ones. I ordered Portugal postcards two weeks ago from them (to use as part of our centerpieces).
For the favors, I think we might customize an image ourselves and have them printed for the luggage tags.

      • Thanks, Scarlett! Any tips on where we should go and where we should stay away from? Where did you guys end up staying on Maui? We are signing a contract with Makena right now, but a little reserved about news that they are supposed to be getting reconstructed (were bought out and are in plans to rebuild as private living areas).

We will continue searching for the image, but doesn’t look like it’s going to be easy!

      • We stayed at the Marriott in Kaanapali up by Lahaina. It was heavenly. We got married down in Wailea on a beach down there. We just prefer the Lahaina areA- better shopping and food in my opinion.
