It’s so hard to believe my nephew is already 2 (technically April 28th). This year, Curious George has been one of Owen’s most favorable book series and my sister wanted to turn this into his birthday theme. She is so creative and the party turned out wonderful! Happy Birthday sweet nephew!
A couple weeks ago Matt and I had dinner with some friends at their new home. It is stunning, they have put so much time and effort into it and it really has paid off. Naturally this inspired me to get back at it with projects for our home. I have been pretty exhausted these last few months, going through first prego trimester, but finally have my energy back. So far, I have been doing little projects here and there for all rooms in the house, I have now decided to pick one room at a time. I chose to do a shelf I spotted awhile ago on Pinterest for our guest bathroom. This past Sunday I felt motivated and was able to check it off the ‘done’ list. Total this project cost me roughly $20!
Step 3: I found this awesome hook at an antique store for $5. I spray painted it and roughed it up a bit.
STEP 5: Stain shelf with desired color. Drill holes on each end and attach rope.
Happy New Year Everyone! 2013 was a very exciting year for Matt and I. We bought our first home and took a huge leap to follow Matt’s dream and pursue Copperwood Kennels (Spring 2014 doors will be opening). We are so blessed to not only have each other but have the love the support of our family and friends who truly helped ring in a great 2013 year!
To start off the New Year right, Matt and I have an extra special announcement to make, enjoy,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It has been almost 2 months since Matt’s birthday and I’ve been meaning to get this posted for quite some time. So here we are. As many of you know, this has been a big year so far for the Tuttle family. We bought a house and have been focused on opening the doors to Copperwood Kennels. Matt had been working none stop and I wanted his birthday to be extra special this year. I am so grateful for everyone who came out, helped and celebrated with us! I could not have done it without all of you.
*Special thanks to my sister for taking these photos!
Copperwood’s first Dog Trailer!! (This may not seem that cool to most of you 🙂 but to Matt it doesn’t get better than this)
Thanks Ryan (Long Hollow) for the help!!
This past weekend I had so much fun shooting the Maslanik and Post families Christmas photos! They were so wonderful to work with and we had a lot of fun. Although, I must say the highlight to the session was photographing baby Fiona. She was nothing but smiles and a 6 month of old bundle of joy and quite the trooper for it being so cold outside. Simply beautiful little girl. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites.
